Individual therapy is a joint process between you and your therapist to inspire the change you want in your life. You may be working through a painful trauma, grieving a difficult loss, trying to overcome numerous life obstacles, or just wanting to improve your quality of life. Your therapist will provide a confidential, warm, caring environment to help you reach your goals and gain peace in your life. During your first session your therapist will gather information from you to get to know you and the circumstances that brought you to us. The remaining sessions will be spent working on the goals you set to achieve. Sessions typically last 45 to 50 minutes and your therapist will probably want you to schedule weekly until you feel comfortable enough with your progress to decrease the frequency.
